"The female section of the extension is too short! Handlebars these days are 1 3/4 deep where they connect to the forks. This extender's depth is only 1 21/32 inches, 3/32 of an inch too short. I'll return it rather than buy a headset spacer."

- Per the instructions, there is a 40mm minimum. The stem raiser itself is 1 and 1/8".
