"I have had 2 of these and both broke in different places. One, the locking knob broke off, the second, a plastic gear split. I will not take another one from this company even if they gave it to me for free."

"Bought 2 of these for different bikes. 1 broke quickly at the mechanizing to tighten the phone down. Bike shop replaced under warranty. The same happened on the replacement before the cell phone holder broke off completely. Now, on the second bike, the holder sheared off completely. Poor design and materials. Find something else."

"I have bought 5 of these in my trip across America and 4 have broken. 3 in the same way, the lock breaking off. And the other, the neck broke clean off. This product is WAY too flimsy to be on a bike and the locking mechanism can't endure simple force in the direction its meant to lock in."

"I bought mine from a local bike shop and modified the stem mount to accept the center bolt that keeps my steering wheel on. Crazy Carts are an electric “drift cart” made by Razor (yes, the scooter company) and are known to take a lot of abuse. I needed something that would hold up to the kind of vibration we see, as well as staying secure in the event of a crash. The mount has already survived a rollover crash at around 13-15mph with minor scratches and kept my phone safe by keeping it securely in place."

"Had some problems assembling it as the instructions are not clear. Eventually figured out that for assembly in the middle of the handlebar there is another screw. Some of the reviews are a bit disturbing but I hope it will hold well."

- my handlebar is right at 1 3/8" diameter. I am hesitant to open the clamp big enough to fit afraid it might snap. should I heat it to make it more flexible?
- Please do not to heat it as it could compromise the integrity of the handlebar mount. The mount should fit, and the only way for you to confirm is to open it wide enough. We would be happy to offer an alternate solution if you has any issues, but there should not be an issue with it breaking.

- There is not a way for the screw to go through the stem mount and into the phone holder. There is nothing for the screw to grab onto on the phone mount. They other videos show a slot in the phone holder for the mount to fit in.
