Good locking skewers
"I've owned my pair of skewers for almost 10 years. I actually just stripped the end of my rear skewer, when I was fitting it wide of its specified range and over-torqued it. This after running it wide for the last 3 years to accommodate a bike trailer hitch. To work around my blunder, I removed the bike trailer hitch, and used the remaining good thread. It's a good design that required me to both use it wide of its spec and also over-torque, before failing, and after failing can still be used safely for a more limited purpose. Importantly, nobody has ever messed with my wheels, when I have locked it in all sorts of scary places in cities with rampant bike theft, for up to 8 hours, but never overnight. I don't know why the thieves don't just buy pairs of the skewers to get the wrenches, but from my experience, they apparently don't. Solid design, that works, at a good price, gets 5 stars."
