"I have bought 5 of these in my trip across America and 4 have broken. 3 in the same way, the lock breaking off. And the other, the neck broke clean off. This product is WAY too flimsy to be on a bike and the locking mechanism can't endure simple force in the direction its meant to lock in."
"I bought mine from a local bike shop and modified the stem mount to accept the center bolt that keeps my steering wheel on. Crazy Carts are an electric “drift cart” made by Razor (yes, the scooter company) and are known to take a lot of abuse. I needed something that would hold up to the kind of vibration we see, as well as staying secure in the event of a crash. The mount has already survived a rollover crash at around 13-15mph with minor scratches and kept my phone safe by keeping it securely in place."
"This is the best phone holder I have owned. works perfectly"
"Excellent product."
"Second time I used it, strap broke. My phone is a Samsung Flip phone with case it is 6. 625 high by 3" wide. I do not recommend this item if your phone is any near close to this size."
"Had some problems assembling it as the instructions are not clear. Eventually figured out that for assembly in the middle of the handlebar there is another screw. Some of the reviews are a bit disturbing but I hope it will hold well."
"We purchased this a month ago from a local bike store in Toronto, Ontario. The top of the phone holder snapped right off while riding (metal part). Is this a known issue with these holders? Almost lost the phone because of this. Simple ride on a paved pathway!!!"
"Instructions (if you can call them that) are terrible--incomplete, inadequate, and not even representative of the product (the backside in the photos doesn't match the configuration of the device). I finally figured out how to install this, thanks to a YouTube video. Product, once installed, appears to be adequate, but I was so frustrated by trying to install it that I've put off trying it. I just hope the product itself is better than the instructions."
"I read that the instructions are was confusing but in my opinion I found it simple and will take it touring so hope it holds up to the road and gravel ride."
