Works for RAD Sportz Bicycle Hoist.

"I used this rope to replace the frayed rope on a RAD Sportz Bicycle Hoist. The rope fit through all the pulleys and lock just fine. It was about 5' short for my installation but I used the end of the old rope to add onto the new rope. This was the only rope I could find that was even close to being a replacement."

If I decide to replace the rope, what is the largest diameter that will correctly fit the pulleys? Thank you.
We only recommend that the Ceiling Hoist Rope be replaced by the rope provided by delta. Other ropes or materials an affect the product performance and will terminate the limited lifetime warranty that the product carries.
installing 2 recently purchased bike hoists. Going well. About to install the rope. Concerned about rope durability. Can it hold bikes for many years without breaking/stretching, etc. Wondering if this is the weak spot in the system and I should replace it with a thicker rope. What do you think? Thanks, Skip
