Too long

I bought this at a bike shop kind of far away so ita not worth the return. I went to put my bike on the car when I got home and its too long on the shortest length for my polygon mountain bike. Maximum weight

Crossbar substitute, description on Amazon (Canada) does not mention the maximum weight it can carry, an essential detail in product selection.
Had to search internet and eventually find the 50 lb max. 0n Delta website shop.
Ordered 2, but not yet delivered.

Q: I borrowed my friend's Delta crossbar to see how it would work out on my bike. It worked well so I bought one for myself. Only it is different from her's in 2 ways, mine is longer and the two hooks are both the same size. The older version fits on my bike much better. Wondering if you still have the older model available?
I took a photo but don't see a way to attach it here.
