Sizes don't match

"I bought an Elasto Quick Mount 17mm because the 22mm was not available and it was not clear what the difference is. Turns out 17 and 22 mm refer to the diameter of the gear (this is not mentioned on the website) and I need a 22. Customer Service was kind enough to send me a 22mm gear, but it turns out the hexagonal bases are also different sizes, so it still doesn't work with my original strap. Time to call customer service again."

Q&A

I just purchased an HL6500 Smartphone Holder from a local bike shop in Toronto, ON. Canada. On the box it shows a photo of the HL7000-QM universal clamp and the description says "Optional Universal Clamp allows switching between bikes". IT DOES NOT SAY "SOLD SEPARATELY. I assumed (and so did the rep at the store) that the clamp was in the box, and the clamp was one of the main reasons I purchased the product to begin with. When checking your web site I see the "Optional Clamp" comes with other holders. I called the bike shop and they recommended I contact you directly to see if you would provide me the clamp at no charge as the description on the box is not very clear. Thanks for your assistance in this matter.
